Women for Women : International Women Day !

Tomorrow (8th March 2013) is International Women's Day.

I know I know ... most of us (women) will get a year load of attention in one single day and night.

Everyone will profusely and shamelessly thank the women in their life.

Media, Twitter, Facebook will post-repost (retweet / favourite) funny or/ and profound messages.

There will be a lot of positive talk about women in business, home, education and society.

Despite all the noise and gaze, tomorrow is a special day.

It is an opportunity to thank all the women our life.

It is an opportunity to honour our grandmother, mother, sister, daughter, best friend(s),friend(s), aunt(y), maid(s) and mentors.

 

Dear special women (girls) in my(your) life

Thank you for being part of my life.

In seeing you, I see myself

In your struggle I see mine

I feel understood when not much is said

I feel contained in sharing my deepest fear

You generously step in when I need support and strength

You are my most transparent - reflective mirror

You dont mince words and feelings and I deeply value that

You make my life as a WOMEN worthwhile
