This A4 sheet was my visual vision for 2012. I looked at it each week and it was my internal compass.
Presenting my 2012 report card
2. Health : Not enough being done. Feeble attempt with Kathak and Yoga. Something that sustains is the mantra for 2013
3. Strengthening key relationships : Many missed opportunities to focus on building key relationships in the personal and professional front. 'No time' is an easy excuse. I can / will do better
Bye bye 2012 and welcome 2013. I am excited about visualizing the ideal 2013 and experienceing it in its full glory
I end with my favorite Maya Angelou
God puts rainbows in the clouds so that each of us- in the dreariest and most dreaded moments- can see a possibility of hope.
Presenting my 2012 report card
3 things i am thrilled about !!
1. Travel : We travelled 5-6 times during the year as a family. These were short/long/medium holidays. The opportunity to experience the length and breadth of India is an experience i deeply cherish
2. Learning : 2012 has been about informal and formal learning. I successfully completed advanced education in behavioral coaching, clean language, positive pyschology, storytelling, body energy etc. I read a lot of article and watched a lot of podcast/ video talks. In all feel very satisfied with how i used my time on this front.
3. Time with kids : I got to spend quality and quantity time with the kids. Parenting has been a mixed bag, some moments of joy and many of utter frustration. I am happy about being 'real' and 'human' in this journey.
3 things that could be have been better :
1. Professionally : Its been an average year. There have been a few good assignments in the Coaching and OD space. Mera Dil Maange More. My ability to actively network and brand my work has to sharpen in 2013. Focus on research, presenting and writing have to be prime focus
