Ambiguity..

When we observes adults in an alien environment.
The patterns of behaviour that typically emerge are -

Chaos
Waiting to be told what to do
Hoping for some one else to lead the way
Rationalizing it as a passing phase
Somehow keeping afloat
Experiencing a sense of loss
Becoming dysfunctional
I have rarely seen any one embrace ambiguity with joy

This struggle often relates to our early childhood experience
I grew up in the Armed forces.
We were  thrown around every few years.
Every new place was different.
We learnt to make friends and enjoy whatever we got.
Life was fun be it the jungle or city

Kids nowadays hardly experience any change.
They have limited exposure to the unstructured context
Routine determines how they lead their life
Even the slightest dis comfort is cushioned.
There is always some one telling them what to do.
There is always help at hand

Schools also reinforces the importance of clarity
Often teachers determines what is learnt, when and how.

In all context can adults ever learn this life skill ?
As we grow we realize that most things are un clear.
Leaders are those who make the most of the unknown
A paradox indeed !
