Happy new year !
Rajeev and I are back from our vacation. This time we went to Sri Lanka. It was a great experience, learnings as well... mostly on how to plan a vacation in a more effective way next time around!. To begin with the golden rule is having an interesting mix of an adventurous mind and some planning ! I think what we didnt do enuff was reading about the place to help determine the course of action and stay. But the tour guide and the circumstances due to the Tsumani did take us some places which we couldnt have gone otherwise.
SL is a really nice place. Most of all we experienced the pride that the citizens have abt the place. Its really something that all of us need to learn about. Every place is so oriented towards tourism.. its amazing!
We have some interesting snaps that we plan to upload on our website. We went to Kandy, Newra Eliya and Giritale.
I did miss some of the monuments that rajeev went to alone!
